The Real Reason Trump has Blockaded Iranian Ports.

Ok, bear with me. This will take some explaining. 

The media is pecking away at the shallow assessment of the Trump actions with Iran. Basically they are saying he is blockading ports in retaliation at Iran charging a toll for ships to pass though the straight of Hormuz. 

And looked in isolation, that's exactly what it would look like. 

However, if you look globally, things start to piece together. One of Iran's biggest customers for oil is China. China takes over 80% of Iranian oil exports and has been building up war reserves of fuel for a couple of years now. 

Intelligence assessments put a date for China maxing it's reserves and therefore it's capability to invade Taiwan at either late 2026 or some time in 2027. It's reserves of war fuels like diesel were working up to such a high level just prior to that. 

Trump could be blockading Iran with the cover that he is dealing with Iran, but simultaneously he is dealing with the problem of China and Taiwan. With no oil from Iran, China will be forced to use it's reserves to supply it's everyday requirements. It will have to draw down on those war reserves, making an invasion of Taiwan less likely.

Yes, the lack of supply from Iran could force China to jump now and use what reserves it has now to instigate the invasion of Taiwan. But China will be hamstrung, because it won't be able to import more oil to refine and use during the invasion. All it would have are it's reserves and what's in the ships already loaded and bound for China. 

And those ships crossing the Indian Ocean from the Gulf are very vulnerable, just like the Iranian warship that was sunk by an American sub. 25 miles off the coast of Sri Lanka. Did you miss that was a message of intent to China as well? 

The danger with Trump's strategy is that China could just lash out now, but how long could it last? Would it escalate to nukes, or an attack on Diego Garcia? Is this a repeat of Pearl Harbour? Could they, would they supply nukes to Iran to allow them to defend themselves? Not without America knowing. 

Who knows. If the Trump administration plays it smart, it can involve China in talks with the Iranians, to persuade them to negotiate in good faith with the Americans. But being Islamists, in my experience good faith is not something they ever negotiate with

Time will tell if this is a huge bit of 4D chess by the Trump administration, or if it's the precursor to World War 3. Lets hope they know how to play chess eh?

Trump Inauguration Today.

Well, so far, the lefties have failed to nobble Trump and he will be inaugurated today. The ceremony has been moved indoors for the first time in history. Not sure why people can't be trusted to wrap up warm, I'm sure the ceremony has been held in sub-zero temperatures before.

But anyhow, the rumours are The Donald will get to work from day one. I do hope so. Those first few wins, before the left can organise a response, would be good. The Jan. 6th people should be pardoned immediately.

Once in office, Trump should start to look around the Western countries and just see who is an ally and who isn't. Those Western Governments that have not kept the traditions of freedom in the West, need to be warned. 

The U.S. has gone to war and affected regime change before. The Western countries would take a lot fewer resources to regime change then say Afghanistan. The classic unfriendly government is this one in the U.K. Several MPs have openly talked about extraditing or arresting American citizens for exercising free speech, something the UK government wants to abolish. MPs have also directly smeared Trump. Not just criticism, but actually smeared him. If I was a UK MP, I'd be wary of entering the U.S. because they might find themselves on the end of a defamation charge.

Not only that, we have put one of the most important US military bases in jeopardy. That is not the action of an ally.

Anyhoo, here's a direct plea to Trump: Can the U.S. effect regime change in the U.K. please? The government is not working in the interests of UK citizens. It is in fact virtue signalling the country into Muslim control. Already we are debating blasphemy laws and it seems that pro-Muslim laws are on the agenda, even though we are a majority Christian country.

If it continues, the move to Islam could be irrevocable. And with it, Islamic possession of Britain's Nuclear deterrent. 

It would be in America's interests to get involved now, so there is minimal bloodshed to reverse the move to Muslim rule. 

Syria: Be Careful What You Wish For...

I hear plenty of people crowing about the fall of the Asaad regime in Syria. Don't be too hasty.

First off, it's not clear which of the many anti-Asaad factions will win the overall conflict and take control of Syria. It's pretty clear the pro-Asaad factions are failing, but there are about a dozen different factions controlled by different paymasters and ideologies that it's not yet clear who will win.

One of the anti-Asaad factions is ISIS. If they win the overall game, then the West is in for yet another Middle-Eastern shitshow.

Another is a remnant of Al-Kaeda, called HKS. And I hear on the news there is talk of lifting the proscription on HKS because they may take power. FFS! No! 

If the Iran-backed factions like Hezbollah take control, then we face another similar shit-show with Israel facing the only option of taking Syrian territory to protect itself. Yet another reason for the U.N. to throw sanctions at Israel, yet if they do take territory, it will help stabilise the Middle East.

The best of the bunch may be the ex-Asaad forces that rebelled against him and started fighting against him. Sadly, the spectre of the Muslim Brotherhood stalks these forces if they get in power. But at least they may not be as radically anti-West as the more extreme fundamentalist forces. I use "May" optimistically, but I don't know about them to comment on what the end game would be for the ex-Asaad forces. 

Lets be clear, the fall of Asaad is not a good thing. As bad as he was, being a dictator like he was is the only way to keep the peace in a Muslim country. Look at what has happened in the Middle-East since Sadam Hussein and Gadhafi were neutralised. Chaos. 

One glint of light in the distance is Russia. The Naval and Air bases they have in Syria (the only bases they have with direct access to the Mediterranean) are currently under threat. The main reason the Asaad regime fell is Russia's inability to support it with weapons and expertise. Russia is expending too much blood and treasure in Ukraine. 

Now would be a good time to approach Putin for a ceasefire and peace deal in Ukraine, so he can then concentrate on saving his Mediterranean bases. That way he can claim an honourable reason for the retreat from Ukraine.

You scratch my back, I scratch yours, sort of thing. Maybe a caveat with the deal would be that Ukraine stays out of  NATO as long as Russia helps a mutually-agreed preferred faction in Syria that is favourable to both sides. In the end both countries becoming neutral between the superpowers.

That would be the best outcome, but right now the Biden regime would fuck it up. Hopefully Trump the deal maker has seen the opportunity and his team have started making the approach to Putin.

Unfortunately I've not mentioned the Kurds. The homeless Kurds on the Syrian/Turkish border will I assume be left out (again) from any support and peace deal. The Kurds seem to be the forgotten fighters, supported by no-one and oppressed on all side by Turkey and the Asaad regime. 

Trump Victory and Time to Assess The Democrat Reaction.

 Well, it's been a few days now and there has been enough time to assess the scale of the Trump victory and the reaction of the leftists to the enormity of the win.

So for starters, Trump has won the Presidency, the Senate and the house. A complete and unmitigated thrashing of the Democrats. Unprecedented in modern times. The American voters refused to turn out for a party that hates the country they live in, a party that would happily replace American voters with immigrants from outside the country. 

It's the same scenario playing out here in the UK except we have just elected the equivalent of the Biden regime here.

So, that's the win. A complete and undeniable win.

Leftists are now wondering why people didn't vote for Harris. The go-to reason of racism won't wash. Because analysis shows that the Black vote left the Democrats in droves. In fact everyone left the Democrats. 

There is now a realisation around the 2020 election that 18 Million votes disappeared from the Democrat vote between 2020 and 2024. If you look at graphs, this year's Democrat vote looked to be essentially the same as 2016 and previous years. 2020 was an aberration. An 18 million vote aberration. 

Some Democrats are realising that just maybe there was something fishy going on  in 2020.

Some hard-core Democrats are wondering why people voted for a better America and didn't vote Democrat to signal their virtue despite the current regime raising inflation, cutting jobs and wages and poorly handling the Covid crisis.

Nope, screw virtue, Americans voted for a leader that had a proven track record of prosperity, a leader FOR Americans and Americans.

If it wasn't for Democrat legal interference, Trump may have got a lot more done under his last presidency. The American public have given Republicans a full house politically, it's now up to Republicans to not screw things up. We'll See.

I do wonder though, if the tentacles of the big corporate donors will turn some Republicans against Trump. True Republicans need to clamp down on dissent. I'm sure some will not like Robert Kennedy Junior and Tulsi Gabbard joining the Trump administration, but Trump is intelligent enough not to make the mistakes of his previous term. He will not tolerate people that cannot do the job and instead plot against him. This time Trump has put together  an affirmative team that will get on and do the job independently of the President. 

Musk, Kennedy and Gabbard all have the leadership qualities to be able to run with their various portfolios independently of Trump, This administration will be many-headed and harder for the Democrats to attack. 

Of course the left could go full batshit bonkers with their accusations, lawsuits and smears, but who would believe them other than the hair-dyed Marxists? After all even activists have a limit.

But we'll see in the fullness of time how things turn out. Trump has to get to January without being successfully shot. I have visions of his inauguration and walk to the Whitehouse looking more like the film the Gauntlet with snipers behind every bush on Pennsylvania Avenue. 

Trummp Assassination Attempt: Lack of Self-Awareness from the Left is Staggering

 Only the day before the assassination attempt of Trump, Nancy Pelosi was saying that only a couple of days ago that Trump was a danger or a threat to America. I can't remember if she went as far as to say he musty be stopped at all costs, but funnily enough that video on YouTube has disappeared.

Biden has already been quoted as saying pin a target on Trump.

Of course they say the comments are now being taken out of context. Yeah, the left, the people that take EVERYTHING out of context, even jokes. Have a taste of your own medicine, fuckers!

That sort of language has only one message. take Trump out. If we can't do it politically, if we can't do it legally, then help us and take him out in the literal sense.

Much is being made of the shooter being a registered Republican, however there were a number of Democrats in the last election that registered as Republicans and then voted Democrat. It was their way of skewing the polls and raising expectation in the Republican camp. They think it's a clever deception. Just like anything the left does, it's just plain childish.

But it's always interesting that the Left gaslight the right by saying it's all the right's fault, that the right are violent, that they use hurty words. The left use words like the right should be "crushed", or "obliterated", or worse.

The violence and the violent rhetoric always comes from the left.

It has to stop.

The left need to start living up to their own expectations of others. If they reckon words are violence, then violent words should not be uttered by them. To do otherwise is hypocrisy.

Trump Legal Pile-On Continues.

 So not only are the US Government prosecuting Trump for having documents (quite legally, because he was President, as opposed to the illegal tranche of documents in the Biden Garage), but now there's a new case filed against him regarding January 6th.

They really are trying their best to stop him becoming President, aren't they.

I would have considered the "deep State" a tinfoil hat conspiracy, but the more I see of the US Government trying to deny him the ability to run, the more the idea of a Government within a Government pulling the strings, manipulating and making kings becomes justified.

I mean, what are they really scared about? Their falsehoods against Trump during his last Presidency have been shown to be falsehoods. No Russia collusion. They've tried to impeach him, twice and failed.

Now they are piling on the court cases in an attempt to stop him winning. 

It's almost worth voting for him to spite the people that want to stop the voters of the US making him President. 

USA 2020: Why Trump almost lost the Election (and could still lose it)

Trump's main failing prior to the presidential election was to not deal with the persuasive nature of the far-left's arguments.

I can see why the arguments are compelling: more equity, more equality. Let's all be the same. Pay the same, get the same rewards. Without mentioning it's essentially Communism.

But the arguments are persuasive to normal tax earners that are seeing the likes of Google, Amazon et al pay minimal tax. For instance if Amazon can essentially decide how much tax they are willing to pay, why can't the mom-and-pop shop in the high Street? Without equality, there is unfair competition.

Trump needs to start addressing the inequality on the tax system that allows big corporations to pay miniscule tax. Otherwise the socialist/communist message of the rich fat cats getting better deals and paying less is going to continue to resonate with the population and embolden the radical socialists.

He also needs to start addressing the huge bailouts paid to corporations during the covid pandemic. Money the corporations were supposed to use to keep people in jobs, but instead kept for themselves and still laid people off. If I was Trump, I'd be looking for legislation to claw that money back and more from the big corporations. With incentives for US production. basically you get clobbered if you produce in China and import, but you get a sweet deal if you produce in the US and keep American jobs. With incentives all the way down to mom-and-pop on the high street.

It's time Trump gave the person in the street the same tax breaks as Amazon, Facebook or Google. 

The Absolute Contempt of The Political Elite.

The contempt of the Political Elite knows no bounds. Here in the UK we had 3 years of the elites trying to overturn the referendum result to leave the EU. Three years in which they used Parliament in league with the speaker of the house John Bercow to try and reverse the Brexit vote.

After seemingly siding with the voting population and enabling article 50. It's almost as if they knew a general election was coming up later in 2017.

However, after enabling article 50 and then saying they would honour the referendum result in the election of 2017, we had attempt after attempt to try and get a second referendum, they tied Parliament up in knots refusing any legislation to leave the EU. Some MPs changed sides or created new parties and basically shat on the voters that put then into Westminster.

We even had non-politicians involving themselves in the political process. Gina Miller used the courts to give MPs a say in the process, which spectacularly backfired on her. She was also involved in the case to prevent the proroguing of Parliament. For 5 extra days. Having won that case, Parliament sat for that extra week and used the time to do sweet F.A. Well worth taxpayers money to defend in court and pay the attendance money to the MPS and Lords.

Parliament for two years was a shambles, brought about by the political elite in the UK refusing to accept the decision of the people. MPs thought they knew better, they thought the people had made the wrong choice.

THAT DECISION WAS NOT FOR THEM TO MAKE. THE PEOPLE HAD SPOKEN.

Of course 2016 had another bombshell popular vote. The election of Donald Trump to the Presidency of the USA.

And again, the political elites on both sides of the political spectrum in the US were appalled. How could a non-politician be voted into such a position?

Again they thought the people had made the wrong decision. Again they were against the people. Again, they plotted (and continue to plot) to overturn the vote by the people.

Ostensibly led by the Democrats, but not really opposed by the Republican side, there was the initial "Russiagate" investigation. Which came to nothing.

Then when "Russiagate" petered out and no wrongdoing could be found, the Democrats started the impeachment process, with no evidence whatsoever. It was doomed to fail, but  hey, it was worth the Political Suicide of the Democrats. Now the people have seen what desperate measures the political elite will go to in order to overturn popular public decisions. Will the public vote for those politicians in enough numbers next time?

In the UK, ALL the turncoats that changed party or created new parties and shat on their voters in the 2017 election were removed from office. In some cases so badly they lost their deposits. The most famous being Jo Swinson, the Lib-Dem party leader who was very public in saying her party would just ignore the 2016 referendum and just continue to stay in the EU. Wrong move as it turned out.

In the USA, if I was a democrat politician that had been very vocal in trying to overturn the publicly elected President, I would be having sleepless nights. The people might have something to say about your conduct and your attitude to democracy.

Finally the real indicator of the Snooty, stuck-up, condescending attitude of the Political elite was highlighted by Nancy Pelosi's tearing up of Donald Trump's State of the Union speech. A stunt she had planned in advance.

This is a President democratically elected by the people. By tearing up the speech she highlighted her contempt for the democratically elected leader of the US and the office of President. She doesn't care, she just disagrees with the people's choice and nothing else matters. She thinks the people are wrong and she will do everything she can to overturn their decision.

She showed her contempt for the President and the contents of his speech including the praising of those who put their lives on the line in the name of duty, she showed her contempt for the numbers of new jobs created by the President's policies.

She showed her contempt for everything the President stands for and the people that voted for him.

Just like with Brexit, it is not for her, or her fellow politicians to say whether the people of the USA were wrong to vote for Trump or not. It is her job to accept the democratic will of the people and get on with her job. Without contempt or prejudice.

So, 2020 will be interesting. Will the Democrats now accept the will of the people and accept the President is here at least until the next election? Will they try and pull another stunt to remove him from office? Will (as the conspiracy theorists theorise) Donald Trump be assassinated?

Anything is possible in the next 12 months.

Impeachment: The Democrats Lost the Argument a Long Time Ago.

I rarely comment on US politics, as I don't have the in-depth knowledge or contacts over the pond that allow me too much insight.

But the current impeachment inquiry looks like a busted flush. It looked doomed to fail before Congress decided to embark on the hearsay-laden witchhunt.

Had they quietly ditched the "Russiagate" thing back in 2017 and regrouped to then a couple of years later bring up Ukraine and start impeachment, then they may have had a chance to sway the people. Had they had real, tangible proof.

But three years the Russian thing went on for. Three years and millions of dollars spent, for what? A couple of minor scalps and nothing of substance.

So "Russiagate" fails, and unable to pull Trump down with the economy (up) or jobs (also up) or security (no illegal wars), within months the Ukraine thing emerges. The Democrats hoping above hope that the people would think that "Actually, maybe the Democrats were right, they just got the country wrong". I'm not sure what warped mentality stands in for sense in the Democrat party, but this ain't it.

The people of the US seem to be able to see a party sliding down a cliff clutching at tufts of grass as they slide ever closer to the edge and the inevitable fall.

In the UK, we've have the same with remainers. Unable to comprehend that the people would want something so antithetical to their beliefs, remain MPs and millionaires have attempted to thwart Brexit. Luckily we had an election that knocked the final nail in the coffin. As a people we declared our will and politically punished those that actively worked against us.

In the US, the Democrats are hoping that throwing muddy sod after muddy sod would cling to Trump. But the people are set in their thinking. They like Trump, they can feel the benefits of a better economy, the working class are benefiting from an increased job market. And the people like the fact Trump is attempting to deal with the Chinese issue.

Hopefully 2020 will allow the US people to do as we did in December last year and finally nail the lid of the dissenter's coffin closed. Finally, maybe, the US can move forward.

All I can see until then is the political stagnation and pain that the UK had to endure in the Autumn. We cleaned house. I hope that in November the US can too.

As an addendum, if the Democrats had any sense (which it appears they don't) they would make Tulsi Gabbard their Presidential candidate. She's been clever enough to rise above the cesspit of the "get Trump" mob in the Democrat party and strong enough not get dragged into the mire. She essentially abstained on the impeachment vote and she's strong on defence for defence's sake, not the politicking grandstanding faux defence of the Clintons. Gabbard has shown true leadership when the rest of the Democrat party race to the bottom, with the vote-winning formula of denigrating the President, denigrating the people and denigrating the USA

American Internal security on the Move.

Lately I've been reading interesting reports from over in America. The Trumpites seem to think that the FBI is on manoeuvres to "drain the swamp" and incarcerate those in the elite that are working against American freedoms and the little man.

My take on it is somewhat less delusional. I think it's pointed at espionage both industrial, economic and political.

For instance there are reports of 5000 sealed indictments a month being bandied about in the "drain the swamp" circles. Te conspiracists maintain this is a growing list of elite actors that conspire with foreign powers to subvert the power of the USA.

I personally think that the indictments are a list of domestic and foreign personnel that are working to bleed America of it's technolgical, industrial and military supremacy. For decades China for instance has been syphoning industrial and military information away from US companies for decades. The latest batch of high-tech aircraft are one example, spearheaded by the latest revelation of the Hong-20 stealth bomber, purported to be a rip-off of the B-2 stealth bomber.

The case of Su Bin, a Chinese spy in Canada who was caught by the FBI identifying targets for Chinese state hackers and then validating information found by them is a classic instance of what I'm talking about where I think the FBI are going with these thousands of indictments.

One of the main failings of Western governments is dealing with people within their borders who act privately and publicly against the very countries they live in.

Whether it's Chinese industrial espionage, people traffiking, drug importation or Muslim Jihadis, all are acting against the countries they live in.

America has subtly changed the legal rules regarding those people so they can be tried in military rather than civillian courts. The swamp drainers think that means a French Revolution purging of the elites, but I think it's aimed at these foreign actors.

The recent closing of the Sunspot Solar Observatory is most likely related to this wide-ranging and on-going investigation. Its position oversees the White Sands missile testing range and it would be quite easy for a spy to insstall some covert device there to do some serious signals intelligence and thereby find out the frequencies and waveforms that US missiles use to locate and lock onto targets. It may be that hackers used existing equipment to  do the spying. Quite handy for anyone wanting to jam such signals.

Another link in the chain are the latest revelations (currently being denied all over) that a Chinese actor planted devices in servers that allowed a back door to Chinese hackers. It's possible the report is factually inaccurate, but the substance of devices planted into everyday network products may not be far of the mark. I've always wondered at the intelligence of companies that allow their hi-tech equipment to be made in a country that will aggressively interrogate, reverse-engineer and if necessary infiltrate them.

A small and probably unknown factor is the flow of money to radical Muslim organisations via the Halal meat trade. Stemming the flow of money would cut off the money supply to extremists within and without America, as would the sequestration of the funds held by those wealthy Muslims sponsoring extremists and money coming in from Gulf states to Salafist Mosques.

Clearing out the rats nest infesting the USA and directly syphoning technology to China would be the biggest blow to the Chinese economy.

Putting an end to the flow of money to Jihadis from wealthy Muslim sympathisers in America would deal them a blow too.

Closing down people traffickers on Americas Southern border and the associated drug industry and the money they make is another step the FBI I'm sure are looking into.

The rhetoric coming out of the Trump administration points to all of this and not before time.

However, if I were a Western person living in China, the Gulf States or South America, I would be considering my options to return home.

Hopefully the Mid-Term elections will give the Trump administration the boost and the personnel in place needed to implement the end game.

Post-Truth... Post-Expert??

There was an interesting debate on Radio 4 this morning between Michael Gove and Stephanie Flanders on the role of experts in determining policy, reporting on trends and generally advising on all things.

The problem with so-called "expert opinion" is it's just that: an opinion. However, if that opinion suits a media agenda is is jumped upon and reiterated as fact ad nauseum. Despite a mandate for fairness, the BBC are one of the worst culprits, offering no counter argument to whatever claim they are making.But they are no worse than Sky, Fox, CNN, RT or any other news channel.

Doing this is essentially biased reporting and at worst no better than propaganda.

I've watched TV news since I was a kid and the most startling change in my lifetime is the introduction of news processed as drama and the increase of biased viewpoints. Way back when, news was factual with very little overt bias. Any bias was easily identified by an opposing viewpoint and a reasoned brain filtering the outlandish claims from the facts.

I've already noted the issue with Brexit: because the BBC are biased against Brexit (and I suppose their fat subsidies from the EU) they report everything bad as "because of Brexit" and anything good as "despite Brexit". So much so I see Guido has started a #DespiteBrexit hashtag on his website. So called experts are wheeled in front of cameras and microphones to decry leave voters, to prophesy doom and gloom, to the exclusion of the opposing viewpoint. Well, only to expose people with an opposite viewpoint as loonies, cranks or people not to be taken seriously.

The other problem for "experts" is their dire warnings of doom don't occur. Which is what happens with opinions and theories. They are a viewpoint, they are extrapolations of what MAY happen in the future.

Their opinions and theories have no more weight than any other but are touted as absolute truth..

The same goes for any other. Global warming is gospel according to the BBC, the science is settled, with absolutely no physical evidence. It's all heresay, statistical, with no proven mechanism, no proof that increased CO2 drives global warming, let alone man made CO2 is the main influence. It could be that the globe warming is a totally natural process and the increase of CO2 is driven by the warming rather than the other way round. But no science is being done to prove that hypothesis, there's no money in it. Science is very much made to fit the model. You'll never hear that viewpoint taken seriously on any mainstream media.

The phrase post-truth has emerged this year to describe the rise of populism, the rejection of the elitist version of reality reported to us as absolute truth. It's supposed to be an unhealthy thing. But it's plain that the media and elites are just as bad at offering lies as truth.

Getting back to the point, the problem isn't "experts" per se, it's the media's attempt to process opinion as fact, theories as proof, without opposition. Telling us what we should believe, rather than reporting both sides of the story and allowing us to weigh either side of the argument and divine the truth for ourselves.
