Gordon the Stalker?

I just wonder if, with all the reports of Gordon Brown's stalker-like activity around President Obama, whether he'll be reported to the Fixated Threat Assessment Centre. After all it was set up to protect VIPs from people with mental health problems and President Obama is a Very Important Person.....

Gordon No-Mates

Seems the Sainted Obama didn't want the curse of Gordo to afflict him.

Even when Gordon's flunkies said pretty please.....

Then they go and try and big things up:

"A spokesman said the men had had a "wide-ranging discussion following last night's climate change dinner".

It has emerged this was a few minutes of conversation in a kitchen at the United Nations."

HaHaHaHa, just the tonic I need to start the day.

Nick Robinson has the story as well on his blog, but tries to redeem things in the last paragraph: "It is thought likely that in response to these headlines, the White House will now move publicly to reassure the British about the continuing strength of the special relationship."

Don't hold your breath. Britain has shown what an unreliable ally it is in Iraq and now Afghanistan. We no longer compete as equals on the world stage where it counts: in means. Words count for very little when you have no resources to back them up with. The old saying "Talk softly and carry a big stick" has been turned on its head by Labour. Instead they insist on "Shouting loudly whilst offering empty promises". Thats why the so called "special relationship" is no more than an illusion in the eyes of the media these days.

To be serious for a minute, this story is an indication of how Britain is being sidelined by the other major powers of the world. Over a decade of Labour rule has bankrupted us and left us impotent on the world stage. We have been shuffled off to the wings to joint the ranks of bit players.

What Labour have done to this country is nothing short of criminal.

So the PM has talked to President Obama more than 5 times and less than 10. Someone should tell him that shouting "I love you! You're my idol! Please be my friend!" across a room isn't a conversation....

Mainstream Media: What Exactly is it good for?

It seems the blogosphere is rife tonight with rumours of Gordon Brown's health. If true (especially the claims that pointers to the deterioration of his mental health have been around for several months) it really does call into question the role of the mainstream media in all of this.

If true, it would appear that the MSM have resisted the persuit of this story for over a year. The question needs to be asked: why?

This is the prime minister we're talking about. His health and especially his mental health is not a private matter. This is the man with his finger on the nuclear button, the man in charge of national security, of national policy, of directing our armed forces.

The same goes for those working around the PM. Its patently obvious that we shouldn't have a manic depressive at the helm of the country, so why haven't those in the cabinet made moves to remove him? Why haven't those in the civil service either?

If the stories are true and the mainstream media and the political establishment have colluded in suppressing this story, you really have to ask what the Mainstream is good for any more.

Not only that, what use are the spineless bastards in the cabinet and those in Parliament that know about this and did nothing?

The next few days will be interesting as this story develops.

Parliamentary Paralysis: Time us the people acted?

Last night PLP meeting and their decision to back Gordon Brown proved Labour's total disregard for the democratic process.

We were denied the election after Brown became leader and so his mandate is forefeit.

We were denied the referendum on the Lisbon Treaty and so Labour's mandate on Europe is forefeit.

We have been denied our place in the democratic process to comment on MP's abuse of expenses, so Parliament's mandate is forefeit.

The time has come I am starting to believe, if we are denied a democratic voice by Parliament, then us the people should undemocratically remove Parliament from power.

I'm with Old Holborn. Its time the people made their voice and actions ring loud and clear.

Polly Toynbee Ditches Gordo Two months too Late.

Polly Toynbee has finally come out and said that Gordo should go.

The problem is, notwithstanding PT's delusion that Labour has a cat in hells chance of winning the next election, its not only Gordon now that needs to go: the whole of Parliament needs to.

Us the great electorate, are starting to clamour for fresh air. The stale odour of allowance sleaze reeking from Westminster must be cleansed, which can only be done by calling an election.

The public at large needs the opportunity to do some hiring and firing: to re-hire MPs those that make the grade, but to fire the has-beens and the greedy pigs.

Without it, this is a dead duck Parliament. It has no authority over the people any more. As a nation, we collectively hold all 646 in contempt. Without authority they cannot govern. All that can happen if they stay in power is the public will devise alternative means to vent its anger. The most probable manifestation of this will be the ascendence of the BNP.

The trouble is, Gordon Brown is so driven to be Prime Minister and stay in the post, that he will cling to power like a leech and fail to see that now is the time to do the honourable thing: to dissolve Parliament and call elections in order to deflate the rise of the extremists in the best interests of the nation.

He will fail, because he is a dishonourable man.

Troughing Piggy MPs: They Really are all at it.

So the Telegraph today starts to publish details of allowance excesses by Conservative MPs.

I'm sure there will be revelations on the Lib-Dem benches too and given that Sinn Fein MPs have already been shown to be troughing, you can bet that they are all at it, with very few exceptions.

As a bare minimum, whats needed now isn't an inquiry, or an investigation, nor tinkering at the edges. Whats needed now is scrapping of the allowance system and a complete new expenses-based system introduced.

I'd say that the calls for the dissolution of Parliament are getting stronger and are bang on the money. Whats needed now is a quick election so that the worst offenders can be deselected and removed from Parliament, those running for Parliament must do so on a mandate to change the system to allowable expenses only.

Reform of the upper house also needs to be planned, after the Lords were found to be asking questions for cash. There needs to be transparency everywhere in Parliament, so the people can learn to trust it again.

If neither of those happen, then the public will further lose confidence in the Parliamentary system and just refuse to vote for the main parties. I can well imagine that there will be a huge anti-establishment vote in the EU elections next month, with the BNP getting a huge boost in votes and possibly UKIP as well (if UKIP get get on TV and reiterate their anti-corruption stance).

I did say back in January that I didn't think Gordon Brown will be PM past the summer. I think that its highly likely now.

Gordon Brown Gets Told the Truth.

Dan Hannan MEP (who deserves a medal) tells Gordon Brown what everyone else in the country wants to tell him. All Gordo does is smirk, looking all the world like the buffoonish madman everyone thinks he is.

Well he would smirk wouldn't he, he's ruined the country and still gets a fat pension. Remember Gordon, there should be no reward for failure.

This video is doing the rounds on the blogosphere, but hat-tip to Guido Fawkes where I saw it first.

I saw Dan Hannan on the Daily Politics a couple of weeks ago. He was the most lucid politician I've heard in a long time. Maybe thats a result of being in the European Parliament and not Westminster, maybe he's better able to talk without the withering machinery of state we have here, but his speech just shows what OUR Parliament should be, without the bollocks of protocol thats been hijacked by New Labour in order to stunt true debate and discussion.

Update:

In contrast, the Labour propaganda machine that is the BBC has this report on Gordon Brown's visit to the European Parliament. No mention of the Dan Hannan speech at all. It just confirms for me the bias in BBC reporting.
Lets see if the newspapers do report on it in the morning.
