The Lord's decided to side with the privileged elites, the wokerati, the virtuous at any cost class and prevented the government carrying out a key manifesto promise.
That was to end the illegal immigration into the UK across the channel.
They killed the bill that would have allowed the government to process illegal immigrants offshore in Rwanda.
The government cannot now deliver on a political promise.
The Lord's have now proven themselves as out of touch and virtue-signalling as the rest of the captured upper classes.
The Lord's must be dismantled as soon as is practically possible and should be replaced not by elected representatives, but by a random selection of the population in order to select as broad a spectrum of ideas and experience as possible. No more jobs for the boys, no more failed politicians in the second house.
They should be selected with the same precise dispassion as is used in juries.
That way avoids influence, avoids bias, and guarantees impartiality.
By siding with those able to afford to virtue-signal, they ignore the cost to those in the poorest classes, who always bear the biggest burden. More expensive houses, increased taxes, fewer opportunities to access government services.
This has to change and the country needs to be allowed to be run to the political policies requested by the larger majority of the population.
The Tory government now need to grow a spine and actually use that 80-seat majority we gave them and start a bonfire of the blob. Leave the ECHR, reform the Lord's, reinstate the will of the majority.
Time is ticking, can they deliver?
