I agreed with the lockdown in March, to help stem the flow of cases of a virus with unknown mortality.
But this latest lockdown is a step too far. The scientists are meddling with computer models again, rather than use proven scientific method.
Also public opinion is against this latest infringement of liberty. Organisations are already emerging to rebel against the lockdown.
It's not helped by the idiocy of the latest rules. People losing jobs and confined to home whilst kids are free to mingle at school and bring the supposedly deadly virus home with them.
When people see unfair rules, they rebel. When people see nonsensical restrictions they rebel. When they see huge contradictions they will rebel.
You can only push people so far. When there are alternatives that are fairer they will question the rules.
With an opposition in parliament that wants to go even further, lock down harder, sooner, there is no chance of an opposing voice.
Let's see what the next few weeks bring.
