How to Identify Marxist/Socialist Ideology in the Wild

 I've been thinking of late of how Marxist/Socialist policy has pervaded life in the past few years. Where it wouldn't have even been considered, we are now hearing the ideology of "Oppression", "Levelling up", "Equity", and the like.

I've already pointed out the new rules in the Highway Code of all things is pure Marxist Oppressor/Oppressed ideology, where the more oppressed road users require some leg-up in the rules to make things more even. Where in reality the original rules of taking responsibility for your and other's safety on an equal basis worked for over a century.

The new rules have begun a chain of chaotic events as pedestrians think they can walk out in front of cars with impunity, or that cyclists can now ride three and four abreast in the road holding up traffic because they now have rights, rather than riding with care and consideration for other road users. 

The "Levelling Up" nonsense regarding areas outside of London are supposed to foster an impression that the government are doing something to help the read wall areas that went blue in the last election. Where in reality there is no extra money for the regions, it's just rhetoric.

Of course the Marxist/Socialist ideology has fully pervaded the Tech giants, with censorship, shadow bans and proper bans for people oppressing others with hurty words. But it only ever seems to be hurty words from the Right, whereas deaths threats or threats of violence from the left are somehow justified as "punching up".

Marxist/Socialist ideology is everywhere. It's up to the general public to spot it and call it out whenever it raises it's head. It has no place in life and especially somewhere like the highway code. It's just a recipe for disaster. It has no country that has prided itself on it's ability to play fair and give everyone a fair crack as long as they're willing to have a go. Giving someone a leg-up especially the feckless is just a waste of resources. 

Let's stop giving people who are not willing to use the leg-up responsibly a leg-up. Let's stop providing extra rights to people that then abuse them. Let's treat everyone equal. Let's play fair. Let's be British.
